College is one of the most exciting part of a student’s life, though some made it through end and some have failed, a traditional night must be celebrated. An event called “The Graduation Ball” is a night to remember.
We all know what this Ball is all about; party, fashion, social, and enjoyment, it is a way of relaxation after 4 or 5 years of stress haha (I’m used to it). So what to expect in a night of enjoyment? Expect that all of the guests are on their best mode, I mean women are shining and dangling in their gorgeous outfits and men are way more handsome than usual because of their formal attire.
Considering the venue of the party is a big factor of the what so called ambiance. (Our party was held at The Manila Hotel: Fiesta Pavilion).
The cab I am into arrived at the venue at 6:30 pm, I walked into the red carpet with confidence and I was like whoa everyone are so busy taking selfies and photos with one another (bear with my photos; t’was taken via phone).
The Manila hotel is truly a luxurious hotel that offers not only cool venue but also awesome operatic music and good food of course. There was a menu on the table with unfamiliar foods written in it.
When going to an event like this, Guests must find an outfit a week before to avoid haste. I took advantage of this week to share this important event in my life “I made it”! I have reached this far. At this event, I wore a coat with brand called Roberto (Roberto Menswear) which originated international and arising fast globally. The coat is lightweight and comfortable to wear, with an edgy look because of the detailed touch of its design.
Who wouldn’t want to wear such piece? None of course 😇. I was even nominated for Prom King that night, maybe because of my outfit or am I just handsome? Or both? Ha-ha just kidding.
The night was filled with happiness and laughter, and with the encouragement of the University President Dr. Emily De Leon (she is a true lioness). The last part of the party was the “disco part” where everyone can go to the center stage with their friends or loved ones to dance like there’s no tomorrow 😁. As far as I am concerned, I didn’t bother dancing in front ha-ha instead I strolled around and took selfies with my classmates.
When I decided to go home, me and some of my classmates carpooled to save money. In general, the experience with my batch mates is irreplaceable.
I would like to thank The University of Manila for molding us (especially the Accountancy Department) to become a better person, and to God for the knowledge he gave. This is it! I did it! #Graduating 😇 Mabuhay! 💪
